I’ve had the wonderful pleasure of owning the Gateway DR x-ray system since August 2010 and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my practice. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner!
The most dramatic change has been the “wow” factor with the new technology to our clients. There is no more wasted time developing films, paying for chemicals, no more clutter in the dark room (which we’ve been able to turn into a massage room), no more harsh and smelly chemicals, no more developer maintenance contracts, and best of all, no more guesswork! If an x-ray doesn’t turn out perfectly, now we simply adjust the image! What a concept!
The TigerView software is the easiest thing to use and the tech support has been second to none. I can’t thank Don, Adam and the Gateway x-ray team enough for doing such an outstanding job. Thank you all for helping me make my practice run more smoothly, more efficiently, and more profitable than ever.

We find the TigerView software more logically laid out and easier to operate (than Naomi). It is also much easier to track down a patient’s X-rays using the search function built in to TigerView. We can actually use the annotations and they stay on the image for later viewing…. We’ve used Naomi for over 3 years and could never get this feature figured out. All of these features, and ease of use, made it a “no-brainer” for us to switch to a system using TigerView.
Another feature we find extremely easy and useful: When referring a patient to a specialty clinic, or when doing OFA’s, and there is the need to send X-rays, TigerView makes it very easy to burn the images AND an image reader to a CD-R.
There are several other features of TigerView that are easier and more useful than Naomi, but these are the main ones that come to mind....But above everything else, the images are clearer and just look better.
